The workshop will provide insight into how industry is evolving to meet the digital era and IoT. It will show how Couchbase is able to handle large volumes of data and easily scale on demand to meet the needs of many online requirements. You will get to learn how XDCR (Cross Data Centre Replication) is able to distribute data across different regions and content. You will also get hands on experience how to model data in NoSQL and appreciate the differences between legacy relational databases such as Oracle and how NoSQL as changed the world.

You would require a standard laptop/desktop with 8-16GB+ RAM with Windows or Linux and please download Couchbase version 4.5 or higher https://www.couchbase.com/downloads

Dr. Mohammed Haji

Dr. Mohammed Haji, a senior solution architect within EMEA at Couchbase. He has worked extensively on large distributed, low latency high throughput mission critical applications. This ranges from investment banks, Telco's, instant credit card fraud detection, and online gaming.

He has helped many institutes that were facing constant down time, performance degradation to being the most preformat and able to handle large major calendar events such as Cyber Monday and Black Friday.

Dr. Mohammed Haji has published many industry and academia articles and most recently a co-author of a book called "Pro Couchbase Base Server" also available on Amazon.
